As things begin to take shape with PlateWire (Investor interest, funding, legalities, etc.) it is becoming quite obvious there is much to be done. Although PlateWire is currently covering it's own costs (Hosting and such), plus some, it still hasn't quite covered my salary, it will be a couple of months before it reaches that level.

Until then, I'd like to offer my services as a developer. If you or someone you know is in need of a Web Guru to develop a web based application, I'm your man!

Below you can find a link to my current resume. Please contact me if you need references or further details.

Resume (Word DOC)

PS: I am not looking for any permanent position, preferably a 1-3 month contract situation.

I have resisted the temptation to enter a blog on PlateWire about this (although I only think it is fair), but if each "member" sent in only $1.00 per month for access, or $10.00 billed annually, you could have a decent wage out of your endeavors.

I wish I was in a position to contract out to you...I could use your expertise on my many web sites...perhaps the future will hold something. Meanwhile, if I can be of any additional help, please let me know. I work about 1/2 day from home, the evenings and weekends are for my students. Reseach topics, minor HTML web pages, etc..if I can be of use, let me charge..I believe in what you are doing.

Even I as a major site user and with all my submissions I'd still be willing to give you a donation (whether required or not) just to make sure this stays up and going strong!

You have a lot of support, your users on platewire included!

I do plan to offer "Premium" based services, but there is much work to be done prior to taht. I'm one of the mindset that everything has to be working as close to !00% as possible before ever charging a dime.
Your offers of donation are quite kind, I am actually still in the process of recovering my PayPal account which was hijacked by a certain someone (we won't say names), which I had setup to use for donations.
The support I have received from everyone has been amazing, and I am trucking forward, just got to get over a couple of speed bumps first!
